First Official School Day 30/07/08

Well, for Logan's 5th birthday he got to go to school for the whole day! So off he went in his bright little vest, with Reuben all set to keep an eye out for him. How sweet!!

He hasn't ventured on the bus yet, but all in good time.

Wow - time flies!

Last Kindy day 29/07/08

Logan had his last kindy day today. I was parent help, so got to spend the whole morning. Logan got to make his own playdough "cake" & decorated it. He had a wonderful morning. They then all danced to "Dorothy the Dinosaur" by the wiggles. Logan also presented kindy with some books for them to keep. That's the end of an era for Kindy days.... it's all done!

Bike Park 27/07/08

The party was at the bike park - such a great Venue!! The weather was kind - just the odd shower, nothing much to deter them getting out & biking! It wasn't tropical, but compared to most other places across the country - we've had the pick of the weather!

Birthday Cakes 270708

This years theme was simple!! (Has to be done sometimes!) Reuben's was a Banana cake & Logan's a Chocolate cake . The boys had a "shared" party - which with just 3 weeks between their birthdays, it's easy to get away with. Reuben shared his 5h with Logan, so we thought it was only fair. This will be the last real party for the next 3 years I think!!

Morris & Morris at Kidzone 13/07/08

We watched the Morris & Morris show at Kidzone. These guys are great at involving the children & adults alike. When it was all over, and everyone had left (Bar a few of us talking outside the door of the hall where the show had been) - we check out the noise in the hall. This is what we found... Isn't it cool??!! It's not a technique they'd incorporated into their show, but it doesn't look like it would be far off! Well done guys.

Kidzone Festival 13/07/08

We made it to Kidzone again this year - Fit and well (for that day anyway!). The boys (with some assistance) made little woodwork Jeeps this year. They are fantastic. They got their faces painted & hair done. They had a go on the little battery operated jeeps. Shane trusted Logan to drive their one, and Reuben drove our one. Didn't take out any cones, nor did we have any crashes - it was fun. They also made their own traffic light drinks & apple pies. Played with bubbles and also some past it looking snow. Had a go at paintball shooting too.. The list goes on. When you go there, there's just not enough hours in your day. Took in the Morris & Morris show - they are the guys doing the juggling. Will try and upload a video in the next posting...
